Customs release Announcement on lifting Slovakias ban on mad cow disease in boneless beef under 30 months old

On November 11, 2024, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the issued Announcement No. 155 of 2024 (regarding the lifting of the ban on mad cow disease in Slovakia's boneless beef under 30 months old). Based on the risk assessment results, from the date of this announcement, the ban on mad cow disease in Slovakia's boneless beef under 30 months old, as stated in Joint Announcement No. 143 of 2001 by the former Ministry of Agriculture and the former State Administration for Entry Exit Inspection and Quarantine, will be lifted.

The inspection and quarantine requirements for Slovak boneless beef under 30 months of age imported to China will be formulated separately.
