On the afternoon of May 22, Lu Weihong, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs, met with Brunei's Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Manav. The two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in Chinese inspection and quarantine and the export of Brunei's aquatic products, chicken and its products, fresh fruits and vegetables and other agricultural and food products to China. Chargé d'affaires of the Brunei Embassy in China, Sai Fuding, attended the meeting.

Lv Weihong welcomed Manav and his entourage to visit the General Administration of Customs, spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation achievements made by the two sides in the field of inspection and quarantine in recent years, expressed their positive willingness to strengthen cooperation in the future, and responded positively to the requests of the Burundian side to export agricultural and food products to China.
