Ministry of Commerce Announces Further Extension of Investigation Period for Safeguard Measures on Imported Beef

According to a notice published on the Ministry of Commerce website, on November 25, the Ministry announced its decision to further extend the investigation period for safeguard measures concerning imported beef.

Pursuant to the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Safeguard Measures," the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 60 of 2024 on December 27, 2024, initiating a safeguard investigation into imported beef. On August 6, 2025, the Ministry issued Announcement No. 38 of 2025, extending the investigation period in this case to November 26, 2025.

Given the complexity of this case, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend the investigation period once again, now until January 26, 2026.
